Clyde Charles Williams (b. December 19, 1911, d. October 20, 1981)

Clyde Charles Williams (son of Charles Parker Williams and Bertha Forrest) was born December 19, 1911 in Greenville SC, and died October 20, 1981 in Greenville SC. He married Sarah Etoliah Cordellia Reece on November 27, 1932 in Greenville SC, daughter of Oscar Jones Reece and Orletha Addeline(Addie) Hunter.

Clyde C. Williams lost his mother when he was near 5 years old in 1916.
He was raised my his Grandfather Thomas
Williams. His Father served in the U.S. Army during WW1 this left Clyde alone. By the time he
was 8 or 9 years old he had left school. When be became 18 he joined the US Marine Corps.
He served in Cuba at Gitmo. His stepmother had him released from the corps to help support his
stepbrother and stepsisters. He was discharged shortly after his father's death in 1931. He met and later married Sarah Etoliah Reece November 27 1932.
He became a carpenter and builder
