She married Thomas Franklin Williams on December 25, 1881 in Greenville SC, son of John Henry Williams and Martha Jane(Mattie) Devlin.

The following is a transcript of the ancestors of Hassie Shelton Williams and her descendants.
It was researched and written by Alvin Henson one of her great grandsons.
The Shelton family has had a long and distinguished heritage in Greenville County, South Carolina. Hassie Shelton Williams ( Mentioned above) was born and died in Greenville County as did her father and grandfather before her.
Sacharissa Merilza Hassentine(Hassie) Shelton was the daughter of Agustus George(Gus) Shelton and Mary Anne(Molly) Moore. Gus and Molly Moore Shelton reared a large family of four boys and ten girls. Three of the boys died of a passing fevers as young children and the other boy lived to adulthood and went with his father(Gus) to join the Civil War in Charleston, South Carolina. He to became sick with a fever and died before he was able to serve for the cause of the Confederate States of America. Gus Shelton was to old to fight up front but he was a mail carrier in the Charleston Area. Even though Gus Shelton left no male son to carry on his Shelton name, all his girls made up for the loss. All ten of them except for one married and reared large families. Gus and Mary Moore Shelton had over fifty grandchildren. Gus Shelton was born in 1821 and died in 1902. Molly Moore Shelton was born in 1825 and died in 1905. They, along with all their daughters except two are buried in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Travelers Rest, South Carolina. Gus Shelton help build the pews for the first Ebenezer Baptist church. A great deal of honor and courage is owed to this Shelton family and many others for the establishment of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Gus Shelton was the son of John Shelton 1775-February 2, 1838 and Frances? Shelton(1780-October 26, 1860). The indication is that Frances Shelton was a Thomas by birth but I have not been able to completely prove this fact. Gus had a brother Marshall Shelton and a sister Eleanor Shelton (Never Married). There may have been others Anne (Molly) Moore Shelton was the daughter of Elisha Moore(1773-May 16, 1842) and Nancy Bates Moore. she had nine brothers and sisters: James, John, Elizabeth, Phebe, Chana, Issac, Allen W., Nancy Moore Benson, and Jane Moore Irvin. It is said that Elisah Moore was one of the first people buried in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Travelers Rest, South Carolina.
Gus and Molly Moore Shelton reared the following ten daughters:Frances Elizabeth-1840, Jane v. - 1842, Sarah Catherine - 1846, Mary Anne-1851, Mamda Eliza-1855, Nancy Emily-1856, Sacharissa Merilza Hassentine(Hassie)-1863, Susan Anna- 1870, Ellender Carolina who moved to North Carolina and Martha Evaline who moved to Texas.

Side note:
Alvin made contact with a man who was researching the Shelton linage. This man had found that the lady in waiting of Anne Boleyn, King Henry the 8th wife, was also the Queen's cousin with the same name, Anne Boleyn. This Anne Boleyn married a Shelton
