Researching DR. ROBERT JONATHAN HARDIN of GA. B. 1835 served in Civil War...CSA Co. A. 8th Infantry. He was married to NANCY J. BRYANT.They lived in Taylorsville , Smith Co. MS. Thier children were : 1)MARY JOSEPHINE HARDIN B.03/18/1866 d. 07/28/1942,2) AARON GIBSON HARDIN b. 09/18/1867 d. 11/27/1949, 3)JAMES ALONZA HARDIN b.09/13/1869 d. 05/07/1938,4) R.E. HARDIN b. 1872 d?,5) BETTY HARDIN b. 10/11/1874 d. 01/23/1936,6
NORRIS MONROE HARDIN b. 11/30/1876 d. 08/12/1947, 7)N. ROBBIE HARDIN b 09/18/1879,d. 05/22/1966,8,
JONATHAN SYLVANDER HARDIN b. 1882 d. 1955. I am trying to find his parents and siblings. His father was from SC.(A.B HARDIN and his mother was from Ga.C.M. HARDIN according to 1880 Federal Census. The 1860 Census shows him still in Taylorsville MS. He is buried in the Old Bezar Cemetary in Smith Co., MS. Also looking for info COL. WILLIAM JOHNSON father to JOHN P. JOHNSON B.ABT 1827 m. NANCY FANNING B. 03/09/1827 D. 06/20/1916 in VAIDEN MS. He is the father to WILLIAM WEBSTER JOHNSON b, abt 1848 m. to KATE AMELIA DISMUKE. William Webster's children were S.P. JOHNSON, TOM PEER JOHNSON and LURA (Belle) JOHNSON.
