George W.C. Wise was the second son of *Andrew Jackson Wise and *Sarah A.E. Prescott, and their ninth child.


*George W.C. Wise b. May 18, 1854 d. April 26, 1916, his wife *Jane Adams and their children. G.W.C. Wise is buried next to his 2nd wife Fannie Cain in New Home Cemetary off State Road 189 south of Elba.

*Francis Marion Wise AKA "TUP" b. September 29, 1871, Coffee Co. AL; d. May 21, 1951, Elba, Coffee Co, Al- Buried New Home Cemetary, Coffee Co..
He was married December 8, 1890 to Mary Jane Harrison born May 15, 1868 and died August 31, 1944. They are buried next to each otherin New Home Cemetary. She was the daughter of John H. and Martha J. Harrison.

Their children were:

James Howard Wise abt. 1892 - married to Mattie E. Jones
John Allen Wise 1893-1983 - married to Annie M. Russell
Marion Dallas Wise 1895-1969 - married to Vera Franch
Barbara Mae Wise 1898-1981 - Marcus Clyde Snow
Dewie Wise 1901- married to Tura Caldwell
*George Jackson Wise 1903-1970 - married to Thelma Harrison dau of Ruth Braswell and William C. Harrison
Lewis Jordon Wise 1906- married to Juanita Dye
