The Phil Wise Family of NorthEast Washington

About Our Family Research

GGrandfather John A. Wise, b. 1843, Penn. and family arrived in Marshall, Wa. from Scribner, Neb. via wagon train in 1884. He was in the Civil War in 40th Reg. Co. F of the Iowa Infantry, 1862-1865. Most of enlistment was at seige of Vicksburg.
Grandfather David M. Wise, b. 1870, Neb. moved his family to the Chewelah, Wa. area in 1910. He had a sawmill and farmed in the Cottonwood area. Some of his son's remained in the area thru the 1960's. Some of his grandsons are in the Chewelah area yet today.
My father David A. Wise, b. 1896, Marshall Wa. located on the South fork of Mill creek near Colville, Wa. He had a small sawmill and farmed. Some of his grandsons are still in the Colville area.
Myself, Phillip A. Wise, b. 1940, Colville, Wa. live in the Deer Park area on a small farm/ranch.
