 Includes NotesNotes for Paul Filewich:
Paul has always loved animals, particularly his cattle. He would often bring newborns into the house. He remained on the family farm. He built a new house across the road from the original homestead quarter and continues to live there. In recent years he sold all his cattle an rented off his land to his nephew Dave Gerega who farms nearby.

Paul is a good cook and liked cooking very much. He has a family reputation for making the best cakes and goodies for special occasions like Christmas.

During his last few years he had to carried portable oxygen tanks at all times. He had an Oxygen making machine in his house and took oxygen 24 hours a day.

Winnipeg FREE PRESS - July 26, 2005 - In Memorial
FILEWICH
In loving memory of my brother Paul who passed away June 28, 2004, Roblin, MB. Paul Filewich was a unique person and it is often hard to understand the reasons behind some of life's struggles. But precious memories can bring comfort in times of loss, and those who really knew Paul can easily imagine his paradise. Golden grain beneath a bright blue sky, a field of the cattle he loved, and his friends and relations from years long passed. Dear Paul, you mattered to us and however busy you were; you always spared time to listen. And though our cares now are no longer yours, you're alive in our memories of the tears, the laughter and your smile. Your sadness and suffering are ended, and now you can find happiness in God's care. Cherished memories of you will remain in our hearts. We miss you dearly. Sister Kay, brother-in-law Don, and nephew Perry.
