I have tried to put together family trees for both my mom and dad's families, though I know that I don't have all of the relatives on here. I hope that there are some relatives of mine out there reading this! If so, I would love some input and any help possible in completing these family trees. Also, I would love to add more family pics and links or any other files that may be of interest. I appreciate the help and the effort to try and stay in touch!

ABOUT MY FAMILY (in short):
The Yanari's - My mom was born and raised in St. Louis Park, MN, with her three older siblings. Both of her parents are originally from California, and her grandparents from Japan. During World War II, her mother's family (my grandma, her sister, and their mother) were interned at Rowher relocation camp in Arkansas, and her dad's family (the Yanari's) moved to Colorado to avoid internment. My grandfather (Frank Yanari) served in the US military and trained at the MIS in Ft. Snelling. He met my grandmother while visitng a friend at Rowher, and brought her up to Minnesota to find a job. They later got married at the Ft. Snelling chapel, and decided to stay in Minnesota even after the war had ended.

The Wong's - My dad was raised in Austin and Rochester, MN, with three of his siblings, while his oldest sister was raised by grandparents in China. Both of his parents immigrated to the US from China, and eventually settled in Minnesota. My dad's father, Joseph Wong, settled in Minnesota along with two of his three brothers. To this day, the families of those three brothers all reside in either the Rochester or Twin Cities Area.
