Anyone with the same surname? Where do you come from? Are we related somehow?

It all starts with David Wotherspoon from Glasgow who had 3 brothers, colin, nelson and bill and a sister named Isobel. David met Susan Milligan from Blantyre (who had an identical twin named Mary and a brother named Tommy) and they married and settled in Firmuit (think thats how you spell it, mind you it isnt there anymore). They had 3 sons, Colin, Micheal (my dad) and David. They moved to Viewpark and my father then grew up and married my mum, hence me!
Im interested in finding out about my family, i know that my dad has cousins that he hasnt seen in a long time and i know that some of the family moved to Canada. Mind you that could be the Milligans (my grans mum was an Eadie of Blantyre) or the Eadie's or the Wotherspoons!
