These files contain research on the Gass, Hazelton, Gilman, Nowell, Robertson, Strang pieces of my family history to date. Primary places of historical searching include Maine, New Hampshire, New Brunswick, Canada, Prince Edward Island.
When I started this I didn't know it would go this far so sourcing is limited in some places. It is primarily for my own family anyway, to give them a sense of place and of belonging. This family has transited from old Scots to Micronesian Islanders and from Puritans to Flower Children and it seems a good exercise in putting life's difficulties into perspective.
If you can help me with any additions, please feel free to email me anytime. The holes that most concern me right now are information concerning my GGrandparents, Blendon Hazelton and Ellen Pierce - they just seem to come out of nowhere. The other conundrum is James Gass on PEI in the late 1700's. How did he get there and from where did he come?
