W.C.(Courtney) was my grandfather....but actually he was more of a father to me than my own......I was raised by him and his second wife Zella Clark Green as my mother worked and I lived with them until I started school...then every long vacation was spent with them after that, until I was sixteen.
He never talked much about his family or any family history..I do remember my gr.randmother's farm and visiting her when I was a kid.
I think as I have gotten older I needed to know my family and its roots....and that is what has made me interested in doing a family tree...I am the oldest grandchild and I was the only girl in the family for 17 yrs....I hope you enjoy reading about my family.
