Edwin Allen Wright was born in Clinton,IA 9-25-42 to LeRoy Charles and Katherine Louise Wright nee Bolte. LeRoy was born in Cedar Creek,IL on 2-29-1904 to Charles and Lillian Wright nee Jackson. LeRoy died in Feb. 1993. LeRoy and Katherine had 8 children, Geraldine, Charles, Robert Leon, Kenneth Gene, Thomas Henry, Dixie Lee, Edwin Allen. The 8th child was named Betty and she died of burst appendix in the 1920's. Edwin was the youngest. Katherine Louise Bolte was born in Davenport,IA to Christian Johann and Charlotte Bolte nee Schoening in December 1906. Katherine had 6 siblings. They were Carl, George, Christian Louis, Raymond, Myrtle, and Lottie. Raymond is the only one still living in 2001. I have been told the Boltes came from Southeastern Iowa or Missouri, but evidence points to Missouri. Christian Johann Bolte was a collarmaker by trade. LeRoy's father Charles Henry was a commercial fisherman with his father on the Mississippi River near Clinton, IA.
