The Salveson-Sigvaldsen Family of Wildrose, North Dakota Updated June 3, 2007
About Our Family Research
I have been researching the Salveson-Sigvaldsen family history for 40 years. My father, William Frank Salveson (Frank) was adopted by Edward Olaus Salveson and Olava Marie Akre at the age of 11 months. He was born December 5, 1910 in Crookston< Minnesota. His biological parents were Frank E. Hageman and Laura Mosier. My mother, Gudrun Elizabeth Synove Sigvaldsen (Elizabeth), was born August 26, 1909, in Divide County, North Dakota. They first met in High School and were married June 29, 1942 in Sidney, Montana. Elizabeth was the daughter of Sigvald Sigvaldsen and Kaia Marie (Marie) Ellefsen. She had two brothers, Stanley and Maurice Sigvaldsen.
