About Our Family Research

I've spent many years researching my family tree and have found many interesting and friendly cousins. As indicated by the title my tree breaks off in many area.

On my mother's side is Morris (supposedly from Rob, the signer of Dec, but not proven as yet) and the Roll's (from Mangel/Roll and Von Woggelum). Other surnames on mom's side are: Arrowsmith, Bas, Childers, Collier, Craig, Crom, Davis, Diesner, Guy, Gwartney, Haase, Harrington, Hayslett, Hooten, Morgan, Naylor, Nevis, Olsen, Pieters, Reddifer, Thompson, Volcx, Vought Worland.

My Father's side goes way back. He's a descendent of Captain John Carr Waddell who married into the Kercheval family. Other surnames are Abney, Berry, Boone, Bounds, Bryan, Clift, Dedenborn, Dykes/Dikes, Green, Gholson, Hendrick, Honriette, Hosman, Hyam, Kendall, Lay, Maugridge, McGown/McGowen/McGowan, Payne, Roesen, Saunders, Schumacher, Triplett, Uppey, VanBibber, White, Woffendale, Wood, James (yes Jesse's family - dad's aunt Stella McGowen/McGowan marrid Jesse Edward James). Dad's mother's side, the McGowens, also descend from Daniel Boone.
