The Wroten family of Mississippi has a long and rich history. In 1717 the first recorded ancestor, George Boone III, came to America from Ireland. According to records he had a son named Squire Boone who had a son named Israel, the brother of the famous Daneil. Israel produced a son named Jonathan who had a daughter named Eleanor. Eleanor married Jeremiah Clark and had a son named Jehu, the brother of Reverend Nathan L.Clark. Jehu had a daughter named Louisa Mariah Clark who married Zack Wroten which begins the Wroten family of Decatur, Mississippi.
Louisa and Zack had four children; Mary, Willie,Clark and Andrew Jackson Wroten. Andrew[1860-1945] married Susan Emma Crawford[1866-1917]in 1883.
