The David W R Wyatt & Janice M Dion Familys

Updated March 10, 2010

About Our Family Research

This just the beginning of what I expect will be a very long journey.
My Father Leonard R Wyatt brought our little family from England to America in June of 1948, not long after the end of WWII. We settled in Plainville, Massachusetts because his brother, my uncle was there. My Uncle, William J Wyatt had been left here of his own accord by my Grandfather William Wyatt in 1922. My Father, Uncle Norman and Aunt Ethel returned to Englandwith their Father. My Grandmother Beatrice (Smith) Wyatt had died in1913 while they were living in Providence, RI.
I married Janice M Dion in June of 1961. We have three children, David W R Wyatt II, Colin S P Wyatt, and Kimberly Michelle Wyatt.
An interesting side note: My Uncle William J Wyatt was a boarder in the home Alphonse Roy in 1930. Alphonse Roy is the brother of Janice's Mother, her maiden name was Roy. We discovered this just days before we were married. Small world.
Both Janice's parents are of Canadian French decent.
