I have been doing research on my family for a few years now. Grandmother Wyatt insisted that Grandfather was a decendant of Sir Thomas Wyatt. Now, I know that many claim this, but my line is not complete yet and who knows what I will find. I have found out a great deal so far so hopefully, I will get far enough back to either prove or disprove this theory. I need help. What I have learned so far is-:
Great Great Great Grandparents were John Wyatt (no dates) wife was Elizabeth Hine (no date). So far I have found one son, James born Oct. 9, 1795 in Theberton, Suffolk, England. His wife was Mary Fairweather, She was born in 1798 in Framlingham, Suffolk, England. They are my Great Great Grandparents. They had several children, one was a son George born Abt. 1821 in Theberton. His wife may have been Mary Ann born abt 1823 in Darsham, Suffolk. Two children in the 1851 Census, Charlotte Ruth born abt. 1846, in Leiston, Suffolk and William born abt. 1849 in Leiston, Suffolk. Another son of James and Mary was Henry (who was my Great Grandfather) Henry was born Abt. 1824 in Leiston, Suffolk.
He married Harriett Paxman, born Abt. 1821 in Chediston, Suffolk. Children were Charles Arthur born abt. 1843,(I have his wife and children' names and approx. year of birth) Georgina born abt. 1846,(married Thomas Kerslake-I have their children's names etc.) Henry James, born abt. 1847, Clara born abt. 1849, Edward born abt. 1851, Harry born abt. 1857 (Harry's wife was Deborah and they had a son William who was born abt. 1880). Hebeth born abt. 1863. All above children were born in Leiston. Ernest John born Aug. 7,1865 in West Ham,Stratford, Essex. He married Matilda Barlow on Aug. 7,1886. They were my Grandparents. I have the names of and dates for all of their children. They and all their children sailed off to Montreal, Canada in 1903. My Father, Reginald, was the only one of their children to be born in Canada, born in 1906. His wife was Alice Emelia Westlund. I am the 4th one of their 7 children. Of course I have Reg's sister's and brothers and families and all their children down to this date. All this information is availabe to anyone who indicates a connection to our family. I am a 65 year old recent widow, that needs this project to keep busy in something of great interest to me. If you can help me, PLEASE do. Thanks.
