A lot of information has been passed down without much documentation. W. G. Abbott emigrated to NEW ZEALAND from BERKSHIRE UK about 1880. The family lived in the Otahuhu district of the north Island. His son William emigrated to Sydney AUSTRALIA about 1916. I need a lot more concrete information to link back to the UK. I am also researching my maternal great grandmother Catherine Cheatley and her husband Ernest Louis Robert who also resided in New Zealand around 1890.
