Family search started in 2000 when I found that no one in my family had been researching my mother's maiden name, DAVIS. Quickly found it was a difficult one to trace but so far have gotten connectivity back to North Carolina with a Van DAVIS, b: abt 1740 in Abbotts Creek, Rowan County. Much information has been gained from "kissing cousins" but have most lineage through Randolph & Lawrence Co Arkansas into Oregon County Missouri in current times. There is no family reunion currently planned and the oldest member of my part of the tree was my mother, Bessie Lorene DAVIS-WYATT, who lived to 103 (b: 1 Sept 1900, d: 10 Jan 2004).
