I am interested in locating Wybles throughout the U.S. My family is from Opelousas,la. I have discovered that there are Wybles all over the U.S. During my search, it appears that the name is of German descent. There are many Wybles in Lousianna but I have not been able to find out when and how they arrived there. I have also discovered that there are many in Pennsylvania also. My family resides in Lousianna and Texas. Wyble is not a common name , so quite naturaly whenever we meet someone with the same last name we want to know where they're from. Some people have changed the origional spelling to Wable, Wible, Wibel and many other different ways. I discovered that this practice has been done in the u.s. as well as in Germany.
