I was born in 1943 in Derby City Hospital. I have two older brothers the eldest is Edward Walter Charles and the middle one is Anthony Reginald Alfred. My father was Edward Harrison-Wyman born Grantham, Lincolnshire 1901. My mother was Gertrude Edna Wyman (Nee Waite) born Thrapston Northamptonshire 1913. My father had several brothers; the eldest was Walter then Lennard then a younger one whose name I don't know but he was killed in the 1914-18 war at the age of 17 years. The wyman family is, I believe, quite a large one with many relatives in and around Grantham. I spent 4 years in that town and went to King's School before my family moved to Hampshire in 1958 sadly my father only lived for 3 years after that and died just after his 60th birthday. My mother lived for another 33 years before she too died in Feruary 1994.

My two brothers both joined thre Royal Air Force Ted staying in for some 15 years whilst Tony lasted for 29. Tony lives with his wife Pamela in Stevenage in Hertfordshire. Ted recently moved from Stevenage to Bamffshire with his wife Betty who coincidentally is the sister of Tony's wife.

I am married to Lynda and we have four children Katherine (34) Teressa (33) Stuart (31) and Claire (27). Lynda and I have been married for 35 years.
