This is a work-in-progress. It is my goal is to find our family roots from Europe to California and to document all the adventures between. Myrtle Alice (Rogers)Wyman, my mother, began compiling information about the family around 1951 (1951 was the oldest recorded inquiry in her file), periodically she added to the family history research over the next 34 years until her death in 1985.
Most of the information contained in this genealogy were compliled by Myrtle Wyman as part of her original research. Due to the vast resources now available for genealogy research on the Internet, I have taken up the challenge from a more technical perspective. Were possible this includes letters, photographs, copies of entries from the Family Bible, and public and newspaper historical accounts of the Wymans, America and Nancy Kelsey. I am dedicating this work to Myrtle Wyman, and to all family members past in future.
Methodology: I have tried to verify all information in this genealogy, verifying from at least two sources, and often more. If you see a discrepancy please e-mail me at dwyman@sbcglobal.net - your input will be noted and greatly appreciated.
Caveat: We are reconstructing our genealogy using Mac Family Tree Maker 10 making changes and updates since this 2003 posting. We are sorry for incorrect relationships and spelling. Please email me with corrected information and we will research it and add to Family Tree Maker. When we feel the information we now have is correct we will post it to the "World Family Tree" then we will remove this site. Thank you for your cooperation on this project.
