I am new to the genealogy business and don't know much about my family history. I can trace my family back to Tennessee in the 1860s. My gggrandfather was born in Tennessee in 1863. I have no ideal what county or town he was born in. All I know is that his name was Rol or Pol. It could have been Roland or something. From there, I can trace my family to Oklahoma where my great grandfather John Wyrick married Maude Acres. He is buried in the Miami, Oklahoma cemetery. He had a few kids. My grandfather was also born in Oklahoma around Miami. His name is John Junior Wyrick. My fathers name is Larry James Wyrick, and I am Johnny Justin Wyrick. I would like to be able to trace my family back to Germany. I was told thats where we came from. Hopefully I will be able to do that in the near future.
