I began this research to continue what my father had begun in the 1950's, when photo copies began to fade with time. It was an effort to save what he had started and blossomed to a near obsession with finding the rest of my ancestors. I grew up not knowing any cousins and only one unmarried aunt for a living relative. Little did I know that my research would uncover over 500 names on three continents! The Conant line was relatively easy to research and I decided to research my father's maternal line also. Then, I found some information my mother had on her maternal and paternal lines and tried to complete the puzzle. I kept finding connected relatives and it was difficult to not include it, even though the connections were very remote. I have visited cousins in a tiny village in England, visited the areas in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Ohio where my ancestors lived and felt a real connection to their histories. It's been a very satisfying hobby and will always be a passion of mine.
