The children of Milferd Lee Edward "Tom" Farr search for their father's ancestors. We especially are trying to find information on our ggrandmother, "Oma".
Tom was born in Alabama 3/22/1929 and died 2/18/2001 in California. He is buried at Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana.

His named father was Thomas "W" (unsure if this was Wilbur or Walter). dob 11/22/1888 George, d 12/1/1964 buried Mt. Olive, AR.
His mother was Lillian Whitfield, b 7/27/1902, died 7/7/1936, buried in unmarked grave in AR.
Thomas and Lillian were married July 16, 1916 in Marion County, AL. At the time, Thomas was 27 and Lillian was 14. Place of birth was GA for Thomas, MS for Lillian. Lillian's father John Whitfield consented to his daughter's marriage.
4 of Thomas and Lillian's children are still alive. Their child Lewis died at at young age. Also deceased are Ovie Lee Roe and Gertrude Garner.
Lllian's mother is believed to have been Choctaw, named "Oma", aka Omietola, Omie Mary Frances Elizabeth Tola.
My father, Milferd Farr, had 11 children and 2 stepchildren from 4 marriages. I am the oldest of the children, and my siblings and I, from his first marriage, were adopted by John and Ollie Smith of Lonoke, Arkansas.
I have recently made contact with a half-sister from his second marriage, and we are wanting to fill in as much information as possible about Milferd's ancestry for our other siblings and our children.
