Updated December 31, 2000

About Our Family Research

Is anyone out there related to me? Since I wrote this on 12/30/00, I found one part of the Carnahan family on their own website!! And today is only 12/31/00!!

I am just starting to try to find my relatives. My grandfather, Jake, was a barber in Paris IL. My father Walter aka Walston was born 1897 to Jacob and Daisy Elizabeth Davidson or Davidsen. Walter married Ethel Fay (Faye) Carnahan from Lynnville IN. Ethel was born aprox. 1899. The Carnahans' immigrated from Scotland???

My uncle Walter Carnahan, wrote books on Lincoln "Hoffman's Row" was one. He also wrote math books.

My mother's siblings were Alice, Walater; Alice; Olivia, Homer & John Wesley (Bill)

Olivia married John Floyd and lived near Evansville, IN.
Alice Married Clyde Parker.
Alice & Clyde had a daughter Kathleen Jewitt (sp) who taught school in Muncie, IN.; They also had 2 sons, Gordon and Willis.

Father's siblings: Paul, David, Frank (Skeet), Suzie.
