I am a descendant of Lewis Runkle that married Angeline Swoyer. They had 23 children, none of which are multiple births. We are originally from the Findlay, Rawson area. The reunion is held the first Sunday of August. I have a great need to complete my genealogy. I have had 7 children. I have some data already on the Runkles as I lived in Utah for a few years and visited the library there. I need to pull it all together. I look forward to corresponding with other Runkles. My German heritage makes for hard work and "stick- to- it-ness!" I remember attending the Shearer family reunions near Findlay as a child for many years. Suddenly, we stopped going. Too far to travel? My Grandmother Runkle was a Yates-I married a yates, also. I did not know this for years after our marriage. Interesting!
