There exists a long list of forthcoming Vanhille families, established in the USA today & traced by Dan Vanhille.
NOTE: In Colorado, the name has been "americanized" into Vaneal.
There are a few "gaps" that pervent going further, especially from France.

NOTE: "vanHILLE" is the official & genuine form of the name, but was erroneously transformed into "Vanhille" in 1743, through a clerical error on a Christening
act. In 1981, Jean-Marc van HILLE asked the French Courts to reestablish the name in its genuine form. Both forms still exist in France, while in Belgium, the Netherlands & South Africa, the form "van HILLE" has never changed.
Wilhelm van Hille's descendants live on in
Belgiun, France, UK, South Africa & the USA. Capt. Gerard van Hille who commanded untl 1985, the world's largest tanker (555,000tons) represented the 23rd generation of van Hilles. He died in early January of 2001 in Guerande, France.
