My Greatgrandfather,Fredrick Yokum, who claimed our ancestors came from Joachimstal, Austria,was the father of my grandfather, Joseph C. Sr, was born in New Orleans in 1892.
He married my grandmother Loretta Hubertz & my father, Joseph C. Jr. was born that same year of 1917. My dad's sister, Rita was born in 1921 & my dad's brother Calvin was born in 1929.
My father married my mother Jeanette Marie Parr on July 27, 1940.
I was born on August 17, 1941, followed by my sisters, Suzanne Marie on March 11, 1946 & Mary Therese on March 18, 1950.
I married Carol Ann Varnado of Jackson, Ms. May, 1963. Daughter Therese Marie born Feburary 17, 1964. Divorced June 1969. I married Pamela Christine Koch, Gibson, Iowa, July 10, 1971. Son, Joseph C. IV, brn Santa Rosa, Ca. August 29, 1973. Daughter Lydia Josette Born April 17, 1976, Oskaloosa, Iowa.
Daughter Therese Marie gave birth to Grandson, Brandon Cole Grantham, March 30, 1993. Therese Marie married Sam Puglisi of Pittsburgh, Pa. Nov. 1997, Daughter Megan Nicole, born Nov. 1998. Son & 2nd daughter
unmarried at this time.
