AJV Wadell was a photographer and music teacher He moved from Kentucky to Missouri about 1834 with his wife and 2 small children. In Kentucky he married a Dora. They brought with them her parents and two sisters. They first went to the County of Lafyette Missouri then to Johnson County Missouri.
Here there were three more children born. and all settled in Warremsburg. He was the first professional photographer in Johnson County.
Both AJV, his wife and 2 children are buried in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
