Welcome to my family history page. I have been compiling information on my ancestors for over 20 years now. I have worked off and on doing so, sometimes taking a break to pursue other interests. But something always brings me back to continue the quest for my roots and the information I have acquired has made for a fun and informative hobby.
I only became curious about my roots unfortunately after I lost my Grandmother in 1984. Not only was she a loving and wonderful person but she was my best friend and I will always miss her very much. I can remember with fondness some of the stories she told and some of the family members I visited with her. My Grandfather died at the age of 30 just before the Great Depression and she was left to raise two small children on her own. She never gave up. She was always an inspiration to me . She taught me that even tough things in life are not always easy, you can still accomplish anything you want if you make up your mind to do so. Over the years, I have remembered this and it has gotten me through many trials and rough spots in my own life. I hope she knows what an impression she made on me and how she has influenced me over the years. I'm sure she does. I know she is watching over me and always will be.
I hope the information I enter here on this site will possibly be of help to others who are researching their roots. In doing your family history, it as always amazed me how one little insignificant piece of information can be the piece that completes a whole puzzle for someone else. I hope my information will help to do just that for someone else.
