My husband William Whylie Yuill died in December2003 he left behind three sons and now four grandchldren. The main reason I set upthis page was to find out more about his family. He only knew his grandfather and mother because he was rescued as a baby from a tenemant flat in Springburn Glasgow as his mother hadleft him for over two days with a broken pelvis and broken arm. The women obviously must have been suffering from post-natiledepression which wasnt heard of then, but he was brought up by his grandparents who lived in Springburn. Most of his uncles lived there too so it was a small community, but devided because of religion also two uncles were in the forces when both grandparents died william as a teenager was left to his own devices such as finding a place to live hewas takenin by a Peggy Cameron who lived in the then new Colston scheme, she did a first class job ov bringing up young william since both have now passed away I would like to find out as much as I can about my husband's family for my children and their children
