About 1972, I began my Family Tree. I was mainly looking to find out about my parental grandmother, who died when my Dad was only 9 months old. It was suggested to speak with her sister, Dorothy Roche Flanagan (1899-1989). "Aunt Dolly" gave me a wealth of information, which really got me started. It seemed a natural continuation to work of a Family Tree. As a former history teacher,it gives me a chance to use my degree in history. Now it is amazing that after about thirty years, there is so much more still to learn.
