I have been working on a project for the past few months to pull together some history on our family. I am using a tool called Family Tree Maker, in conjunction with some online resources. My current goal is to track where and when our family, both on Johan’s side and on my side, entered the United States. From there, I would be fascinated to see how far back I am able to go. I have some good information on Johan’s side, provided by Mormor Echols, as well as some more current information on my own side from my dad, grandma, and Aunt Sandy.
