Not much is known about my ancestors.I was born on October 5,1948 in Brooklyn N.Y. to John and Jean Zarzano.Both of my parents were born in 1904.My mother passed away on Nov 16,1954 and I went to live with my mother's niece and her husband,Mr and Mrs Frank Abenanti in Brooklyn.My father had a stuffed toy business on Crosby St. in N.Y.C. which was named Rival Toy.Because of the long hours involved in maintaining his business he wasn't able to care for me which is why I was sent to live with my cousin.My father always stayed in touch and when I was a little older about 8 or 9 years old,I would spend weekends with him.Both sets of grandparents had passed away long before I was born so I know very little about them.My paternal grandfather was named Benjamin and My paternal grandmother was named Mary Vicaro.I had One brother who was 18 years older than I was,He was a NYC homocide detective in Brooklyn.I do not know anything of my mothers parents.I married Diana Nardiello on Nov 16,1969.We had 2 childern,Joseph,born Jan 25 1971 and Stephanie,born Oct 5,1975.The live in Staten Island,N.Y.We seperated in 1987 divorced in 1990 and I remarrried on Aug 25, 1991 to Virginia Rodman.We have one child,Jessica,born March 3,1993.My father remarried about 11 years after my mother passed away and moved to Fort Lee,N.J,where he went into a concession business in Palisades Amusement Park.He stayed there until the park was sold and demolished,and then moved to Miami Beach.He passed away on Oct 7,1978.My brother had a massive heart attack in Nov.of 1984 and passed away.I would love for anyone who has any information about my family to drop me a line or e-mail me,so that I may piece together so many of the missing parts of my genealogy.
