My father's family come from a city named Chiavari, at Genova, in the Liguria Regiom, from Italy. The father of my grandfather came to America with some brothers and sisters. His name was Bartolomeo. I don't remeber what he do here. My grandfather was Director of the Post Office in Peru. He had 8 sons, 5 men and women. Now only are 2 still living, one in Spain, and the other one in USA. My father was pharmaceutic, and he had in a popular zone a pharmacy.
By other hand my mother was the only child of my grandparents. My grandfather was optician, and my granjd mother was public employ. She was a woman that had a very strong character. She said that that her father became from spanish nobles, and I keep some letters of a Condess to him. He was thearter empresarian. The mother of my grandmother of my mother (seems funny)was writer like all their family. Her name was Manuela Antonia Marquez, and her brother Arnaldo Marquez was considerated like a wiseman in his time.
Because my mother have not brothers, we were nearest my father's family. We were a lot of children in my grandmother's house ever at mother's day, christmas, her birthday, etc.
The last new of my family that I can put now here, perhaps tomorrow I remember more, is tha Gian Marco Zignago, the author and artist that is working with Emilio Stephan, is my nephew. He is the son of my cousin Javier Zignago, dead many years ago.
Well I forget I'm married with a lawyer. His name is Fernando de Pierola. We have 28 years of marriage. And we have a son Alonso that have 21 years old, and he want to be lawyer also.
