My quest to find the spiritual heritage of my family has been an enjoyable and at times roller-coaster adventure into my family's history. The most fun has been meeting all these relatives I never knew and learning about the history, personalities, and tales of various family members. I wish I'd known many of these people - they led exciting and at times tragic lives. This is an attempt to share what info I've been able to glean with all of you. Enjoy the stories and the people - and let me know if you find any errors that need to be corrected or if you can provide additional information I have not provided. I will continue adding - this website is in it's infancy.

It should be noted that the Zimmerman name originally had 2 "n"s at the end: Zimmermann. It has not been determined exactly when the second n was dropped. Julius and Emily's marriage certificate have it spelled with 2 "n"s and Irvin and Ella's only have one.
