In 1968 Mario Manuel Martins Vergas came to this country with his new wife Maria Manuela,from Portugal.He was 30 and she was 16.After living in the US for a short time,they assisted other family members in coming to the US.They based their family in New Jersey, where they spent the next 12 years.During their time there they had 2 daughters,Maria Vicotria and Tina Jesus.In August of 1979 they moved to the Southwest,in Scottsdale, Arizona.Mom died 4 1/2 years later in a car accident.The brothers and sisters are Nau , Mario, Maria, Emilia ,Rosa, Mina, Alice. Tio Joao and Tia Rosa lived for some time in Africa.Tia Rosa passed away in 2003.Would love to have other family members add info.
