Obituary of Policriti Zombakis

Mrs. Policriti Zombakis of 468 Parkway, Monessen, died suddenly at 1:26 P.M Saturday shortly after admission to Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. She was born in Chios, Greece and had resided in Monessen since 1948. She was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, Monessen, and the Philoptochos Society of the church. Preceding her in death were her husband, George Zombakis, who died in 1960, and a brother, Epaminonta Vassiaiadis, who died in 1975. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Steve (Anastasia) Tetteris Jr. of Monessen, Mrs. Anthony (Virginia) Kritis of Brooklyn, NY. And Mrs. Stefanos (Eleanor) Mikedis of Chios, Greece; one son, Demos Zombakis of Louisville, KY; one sister, Lemonia Koliarou of Chios, and 13 grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., Monessen, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM today.
