My name is gary Zoskey. My Fathers name was Garfield William Zoschke. Note changed to Zoskey. My grandfather was William Albert Zoschke who was married to Agnes Anastasia Hamelin. My great grandfather was Karl Henry Ferdinand Zoschke who Married Augusta Monig in Penetanquishene Ont. Canada in 1885 shortly after he was released from the armied services in the Reil Rebellion. My great great grandfather was Charles Zoschke born 1826 who married Henrietta Milcke and migrated from Stolp Pommerania Prussia to Canada around 1872. Karl had a brother named August who remained in Prussia. The family settled in Tay County just outside of Midland Ontario in 1889. The family homestead is still owned by the descendants of Charles Zoschke.
I have noticed many Zoschke family members in the USA through Kansas and Oklahoma. I understand that there will be a reunion in 2002. I would like to find out more about it.
