I, Jack Zuker, am trying to locate my great-great grandfather, Abraham Zuker, who emigrated from Europe. He married Sarah Elizabeth Martin sometime arround 1846 in or arround Rome, Ga. He had three children, Wiley William 1848, Louis 1850 and Euguice 1854. He supposedly had two stores, one in Cave Springs,Ga. and the other in Rome, Ga. He left his family sometime arround 1855 or 1856 to go to New York area. He was not heard of after he left. All research to this point has been a dead end. His wife, was on the 1870 Census as, Elizabeth Zuker, listing the three children, and owing land in Floyd County, Rome, Ga. I found a marriage certificate between Elizabeth Zuker and M H Southerlin dated December 16, 1874, in Floyd County. I have not located any further record on Her or her husband. I have a wealth of information on William Wiley Zuker, but none on the other two children. Please contact me if you have ny information on Abraham or his two children Louis or Euguice.
