This history started out as a quick reference for my children as to where their Ancestors came from. So much for the quick part. :) I've been trying to find information on the Adkins family for the past three years. I'm at a brick wall. So far I'm on Levi Adkins b. 26 May 1812 d. 29 Jan 1884. Possibly d in Monroe, Green County, Wis.
The 1850 Green County census has him listed as head of the household but with the last name of Atkins. So, here I am, my brick wall.
Other surnames in the Adkins line are Henderson, Leach, Manchester and VANNATTA.
Surnames on my side of the family are Bond, Collins, Dunks, Lane and Standlee.
