Note: Although this family included three age-eligible daughters, neither Walter nor Wallace found any as suitable as a wife. Both brothers remained bachelors all their lives.

Could not find either brother in the 1910 census records. There was a Walter Harville born in 1878 in Wisconsin listed as living in South Dakota, but I don't think this is our Walter. Differences: year of birth (1878, not 1874; and mother's birthplace Wisconsin, not Pennsylvania; but most importantly, I could not find Wallace listed any where...South Dakota, Iowa, or Wisconsin.

It appears that some time during the 1920's, Walter and Wallace parted company. The 1930 census shows Walter living on the far southern side of the county as a live-in farm hand in Potosi Township. However, Wallace is still living at home with his now widowed mother.
