Henry Glisson (son of Joseph Glisson) was born Bef. 1728 in North Hampton Co., North Carolina, and died Aft. 1810. He married Charity O'Quinn, daughter of Patrick O'Quinn.

Henry owned 155 acres of land in Logan Co., KY which was bought about April 30, 1805. Henry had moved to Logan Co. from Bertie Co. Edenton District of NC in 1795.

Henry and Charity sold 15 acres of land, while living in North Carolina, located at the northeast branch adjacent to John Hare's part of land to Adam Raby on January 24, 1757 for 4 pounds and 6 shillings.

Charity received this land from her brother Patrick in his will. On October 4, 1757. Charity was examined by two justices of the court, John Duke and Samuel Cotton of Northampton Co. to determine that she sold the land of her own free will. Adam Raby was the brother of Patrick O'Quinn's wife Martha.
