Ernie Alderete Rodriguez/Alicia Rodriguez Porras

Me, Ernie Alderete Rodriguez (1952-), and my mom, Alicia Rodriguez Porras (1918-2006), at Niagara Falls a few months after my birth on our cross country trek. We flew from Los Angeles to Detroit to pick up our new Olds Rocket 88, which we drove into Quebec, and down the eastern seaboard including New York City for the opening of the newly built United Nations building, then on down through Louisiana, Texas, Mexico all the way to the border of Guatemala.
