William Fox Richardson was apparently named after the County Court Clerk of Pulaski County, Kentucky, William Fox. He was clerk for most of my copies of Richardson deeds.

William Fox Richardson
Wm. F. was a well known Baptist minister who for many years performed wedding ceremonies in Pulaski County. His name appears often in the Pulaski County marriage records. He owned a substantial amount of land which is referred to in one deed as a plantation. He owned slaves and their names and ages are recorded in deeds and wills. He was ordained a minister January 1845, probably at Rock Lick Baptist Church. His is buried in the Rock Lick Baptist Church Grave Yard on Somerset Grundy Road, Somerset, Kentucky.

W. F. RICHARDSON held a conspicuous position in Cumberland River
Association, during a period of nearly thirty years. He was born in
Pulaski county, Ky., in 1818. He united with Rock Lick church, in 1837,
and was there ordained to the ministry, in 1845. He was pastor of several
churches, at different periods. From 1854 to 1860, he served the
Association as Clerk, and was subsequently Moderator of the body, two or
three years. He was a good, earnest preacher, a man of excellent
practical judgment, and did much to encourage missions and Sunday-schools,
within the bounds of the Association. He was called to give an account of
his stewardship, about 1875. Richardson

Gen. Jesse Richardson and Martha lived in Lincoln and Garrard Cos., Ky. prior to moving to Pulaski County, Ky. He settled on 1500 acres of land in the Blaze Valley of Pulaski County. He was active in the establishment of Pulaski County and Somerset. He donated land for the Rocklick church, the oldest church in the area.
