I know that James Elbert McQueen died in Feb 1932 and is buried in the
Muncie Chapel Cemetery... but so far have not be able to find an obituary
for him... have looked in the Wheaton Journal as well as in the Monett
and Cassville newspapers... any suggestions?... his wife's obituary
states they lived near Corsiana until 1910 until they moved to a farm near
Wheaton... looked at a 1909 Barry County Missouri Platt Book and found an
entry for J. E. McQueen for 80 acres in section 13 of township 24N, range
29W which is about 1 1/2 miles east and 2 miles north of Wheaton... this
is probably the farm mentioned... I tried to locate the J E McQueen
family in the 1900 and 1910 Barry County census but didn't have any
luck... did find the following in the 1920 Barry County census:

Silas McQueen family (+Leth+3 children) in Wheaton Township, Wheaton City
