About Our Family Research


I research the Maynards, the Messer's, the Vanc's and the Perry families related to one another. All from the 12 pole creek or Wilsondale/ Mingo area. Boy we are a huge family.

    My mom and dad are both part indian. You can see this by the photo. He is from Bluefield WVA and she is was born on 12 pole creek at the Maynard home place. They were married in 1954 in DC. William Woren McDonald died in DC. 1975
  • The Maynard homeplace at 12 creek (117 KB)
    This is the home of George F., Joseph, Alvis and now Ersel Maynard. I feel right at home during a visit.
