He was named after Julian BIass owner of BlassDept store in Little Rock, Ak The store no longer exists. Julian was career Marine for 30 years, stationed at Camp Pendleton and lived in Oceanside California for 20 years. After retirement, he lived near Miramar briefly, then Sun City, Califernict; then Little Rock and Mountain Home, Arkansas. Moved to Soulsbyville, California and built a prefab home there irk 1987 to he near his son in Sonora. The family had often gone in the mountains in San Diego county and their son, William Jack, decided as a boy he wanted to be a forest ranger. Jack is stationed now in Sonora.
