I think that Cordia and Millard probably divorced since the transcription for Moore's Chapel shows his wife as being Julie, born in 1915, died 1968. Julie's death certificate showed her as being married to Millard F Hart.

Mrs.. Cordie Wilson HART, 81, of 601 N. Third Street, Mebane, died at p.m. Tuesday at Alamance County Hospital following four weeks of failing health and one day's critical illness. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of (he late George and Tish Wilson and wife of the late MILLARD Freeman HART. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. Survivors include: son, Billy Brown HART of Gibsonville; daughters, Mrs.. W.T. Hall of the home and Mrs.. Leonard Owens of Rt. 3, Graham: brothers, Conway Wilson and Charles Wilson of Burlington; sister, Mrs.. Maddie Mozdle Burchell of Burlington; 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Frank Haith, pastor of Altamahaw Baptist Church, will officiate. The body will remain at Lowe Funeral Home throughout the service. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today

A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Milton and Ida Kincaid HART and a member of Hico Baptist Church. He was a former employe of Sellers Mfg. Co. at Saxapahaw. He is survived by a son, Billy B. HART, Gibsonville; daughters, Mrs.. W. T. Hall- Jr.., Mebane, Mrs.. Louise Owens, Rt. 3, Graham; step- sons, Thomas and Leverett Knighten. both of Rt. 2, Graham. Billy Gene Knighten, Burlington; brother, M. T. HART, Elon College; sister, Mrs.. Annie Covington, Pitt- sboro; 19 grandchildren-and 14 great-grandchildren. Final rites will be held Tuesday at p.m. at Hico Baptist Church. The Rev. Billy R. Morene, pastor, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Larry Evans, pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Kannapolis. Burial will be in Moore's Chapel cemetery. The body will remain at McClure Funeral Home in Graham until taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.

BURLINGTON Mrs.. Mozelle Wilson Bailiffe Burchell, 99, formerly of 707 Brown Bear Drive, died at 11:42 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2001, at Alamance Health Care Center.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Paul Homer Bailiffe and the late Everette Burchell. She was a former employee of Cone Mills in Haw River and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Burlington.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs.. Ann Mundy of Burlington; a son, Mr. Wilson Bailiffe of Gibsonville; grandsons, Mr. Chip King and wife, Kandy and Mr. Wanye Cantrell and wife, Grace; great-grandchildren, Kelli and Rachel King, and David and Audra Cantrell; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs.. Juanita Kerr.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Church of the Nazarene by the Rev. Bill Vinson, pastor. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.

The family will be at Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 this evening.
Memorials may be made to the Gideon Bible Fund, c/o First Church of the Nazarene, 1410 Elder Way, Burlington, N.C. 27215.

Merle Staley, both of Burlington; one other son, Burl Sharpe of Rt. 1, Cameron; one stepdaughter. Miss Freddie Sharpe of Burlington; one stepson, Walter Sharpe of Burlington: one sister ? Final rites will be held Thursday afternoon 4 o'clock at Calvary Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Luther Nail, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Don Kimrey, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of Greensboro. Burial will be in Friendship United Methodist Church cemetery. The body will remain at Lowe Funeral Home until taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
