View Tree for Christopher James ReedyChristopher James Reedy (b. 12 Aug 1997)

Christopher James Reedy (son of James Luz and Emma Ruth Reedy)13776, 13777, 13778, 13779 was born 12 Aug 1997 in Arlington, Tarrant, Texas13780, 13781, 13782, 13783.

Includes NotesNotes for Christopher James Reedy:
He was born 12 August 1997 at Columbia Hospital in Arlington, Texas at 3:04
P.M., weighing in at 6 lb. 5 oz. Though his father is Hispanic, he is quite
fair and doesn't especially look like anyone in the family, he seems to have a
mouth shaped like his mother, Emma's and her mother Ruth's. He had dark hair
and like most babies at birth, had blue eyes. Emma would have given him the
name, Christopher James. We visited them at the hospital and were able to hold
him for a little while.
He was given up for adoption since his mother was single and so young (age
17) at the time of his birth. His father, James, was also very young and took
his own life before the child was born. This action was taken as a result of
counseling with the LDS Social Services so that the child would be placed with a
family who would raise him up with the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ
and provide for his needs throughout his life.
